The “e” in e-Golf doesn’t stand for compromise. Other than running on electricity, it’s 100% Golf. Versatile, agile, and fun to drive. And with an EPA-estimated 125-mile range, it’s an urban adventure vehicle ready to go out on the town and back. Again and again.
You’ll experience e-Golf performance in Normal mode. Switch to Eco mode for a happy medium of performance and efficiency. Or to help maximize your range, put it into Eco+ mode for more conservative battery usage. So pick a mode. Any mode.
When you brake or lift your foot off the pedal, the e-Golf converts the energy to electricity to help recharge its batteries. The higher the regenerative level you select, the more the car slows down when you lift your foot.
The power goes right to the wheels without hesitation, so you press the pedal and go. And range is just one impressive performance statistic.
The e-Golf gets extra interior details. Like the blue accents on the shift knob and the e-Golf emblem in the front of the shifter. An atmosphere that boasts it’s ready for liftoff.
We designed the e-Golf as not to invade the 52.7 cu. ft. of cargo space with rear seats folded and adjustable cargo floor lowered. After all, comfort and cargo shouldn’t be mutually exclusive.
Stay in your comfort zone while your passengers stay in theirs. The A/C compressor is electric, so you can all enjoy a cool, air-conditioned cabin.
The key fob does the job. Leave it in your pocket. You can automatically unlock the door of your e-Golf as you grip the door handle. Then, once you’re inside, with the press of the brake and the push of the start button, your engine turns on and you’re ready to go.
The available Parking Steering Assistant (Park Assist) can check a potential parking spot and let you know if your vehicle can fit. If it does, this feature will help guide you in.
Talk about seeing the big picture. The Rear View Camera System helps you see so you can avoid obstacles while backing up.
From Electronic Brake-pressure Distribution (EBD), which helps maintain appropriate stopping power during a hard-braking situation, to Electronic Stability Control (ESC), which can adjust engine throttle and apply corrective forces to the wheels that need them most, there are in total seven stability-enhancing systems to help you maintain control of your vehicle.
